Waking up depressed

Today was one of "those" days, waking up was a chore. I have been having a bout of depression for the last few days and yesterday night was the pinnacle of it. Took almost every ounce of will power I had to refrain myself from lashing out at innocent people who were there at my place of work... Made me realise one thing though, that I am far from being a spiritually progressed person. This morning waking up, I found it almost even hard to breathe... spent the whole day in bed lazing about in the dark and just vegetating. In my bout of self-depreciation I began thinking of Mother Kuan Yin, and my "poor me" feelings although not totally erased... did begin to subside.... and inspired me to write a verse of praise to Mother Kuan Yin.....

Within every sentient being is a spark of Divine Mother Kuan Yin

Engulfed in Sadness the pain within my heart burns deep,

Depressed by Sorrow my spirit hovers burdened and weary,
And then you appear, into my life your compassion seaps,
Into my mind your kindness soothes away all my dreadful worries

For when i am embraced by your Light,
No other solace do I need
And when I am enveloped by your Love
My Joy again rises to its highest peaks...

Divine Mother Kuan Shih Yin
Hold me close in your Light,
Keep me near in your Love

Divine Mother Kuan Shih Yin
There is NO other I need,
and None other I seek.

Praying to Divine to Increase our nastiness

To Pray for Benefits of Wealth, Power and Status in order for one to bide time to exact Vengence, increase Pompous pride and greed for Personal Gain is like squeezing blood from a stone. The Divine will most likely leave one to one’s own true working of karma for THEY will never bless anyone with the chance to be a nastier person. The main focus of the Divine is not whether one materially gets wealthier happier, but rather if one spiritually evolves happier and better.

Answer my prayers...DAMN IT!

Someone asked me Why doesnt Kuan Yin ever answer my prayers? I prayed for Strength and Wisdom and I still the same...

I believe:

Answering prayers isn't always about dropping what we want at our door steps. Divine Kuan Yin or Buddha ALWAYS answers prayers, We may not always get what we want but we ALWAYS get what we need.

People who pray for strength for example should not expect Kuan Yin to shoot some mystical laser beam from heaven and imbue them with Herculean strength, but instead, they will be sent trials and problems to solve, to withstand and to transcend. After "overcoming" such problems the person inevitably becomes stronger, wiser and more resilient. The same can be said for every other prayer humanity makes...

Kuan Yin is not a fairy god mother waving a tinkerbell wand chanting Bibbidy-Bobbity-Boo! SHe holds a willow branch and chants Om Mani Padme Hum

I pray to Embrace Kuan Yin's Light
To quell the Darkness within and Retreat it from my Sight

Help me open my Heart and joyfully let you in.

With your Light, may all Wisdom grow,
In your Love, may Great Compassion follow

For YOU are Love and You are Light
Where all Darkness transforms and cannot fight!

A Blessing is.....

A Blessing is the Energy or Power bestowed upon oneself by a Divine being or guide that enable us to transform or change our Hearts, Our Minds and our Lives. The blessing energy also, imbues oneself with the attributes and virtues of the divine ones that confer that energy upon us.

Blessing are not always being bestowed with Material wealth or Getting a job or getting a lover ( although these are all parts of it ) but a true divinity will bless his/her devotee with the best situations to improve their lives, make them better people and nurture them to have purer hearts.


All that is pleasant is NOT always a blessing, like if a person gets 1 million dollars and changes into a totally horrific person then the "Pleasantness" has become an obstacle to his spiritual evolution and a bane to the people around him.

Or if a person encounters a calamity, but manages to transcend its effects, making him stronger, more understanding and wise, allowing him to help others who encounter the same situations in the future... then that which seems harsh in the beginning has become a blessing coz, that energy or situation has transformed their lives and the lives of those around them.

Blessings MAY NOT always be pleasant, and Pleasant situations may not always be a blessings. I believe we may not ALWAYS be blessed with we want, but ALWAYS be blessed with what we need.....
