Spiritually speaking: Should I Gain or Should I Lose?

I was just looking through some shreds of paper I always have around me, and i discovered this following verse I wrote, awhile ago.... it sort of jumped out at me today... so i thought it could be a sign for me to contemplate upon its meanings.


(Jan 8th 2006, 3am ) " The Cultivation of the Spiritual path was never about Gaining, but about Losing. It was never about Praying for Life but Preparing for Death. It was never about Moments but about the Suchness of Time. The Spiritual path is not about Praying to Live but Living in Prayer"
